Specialty and urgent care centers

Responding to the need for expanded services in neighborhoods throughout the Valley, Phoenix Children's opened a 30,000-square-foot pediatric specialty and urgent care center north of U.S. 60 at Southern Avenue and Higley Road in Mesa in December 2007.  

The new center:

• offers comprehensive specialty care on weekdays,
• urgent care in the evenings and weekends,
• and serves as the prototype for similar centers in other high-growth areas of the Valley.

Other specialty and urgent care center developments on the horizon:

• Specialty and Urgent Care - Northwest Valley Center (Loop 101 and 51st Avenue in Glendale) opens July of 2009
