Facility upgrades
Central campus expansion
The existing campus on Thomas Road will grow to include:
- a new parking garage and central plant,
- a new patient tower with all private rooms, expanded diagnostic and treatment facilities, state-of-the-art surgical suites, and expansive clinic space for outpatient services,
- and an entry boulevard and main Hospital entrance located off of Thomas Road.
While construction on the new patient tower is underway, the existing tower will be remodeled to keep up with modern-day demands.
Our Newborn Intensive Care Unit (NICU,) located on the campus of Banner Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center, is getting a facelift. When complete in 2008, the facility will set a benchmark for neonatal care in the United States with 38,000 square feet and 76 private patient rooms, or "womb rooms." The nursery will grow to four times its current size, enabling our medical team to provide the highest level of care in a setting that benefits both patients and their families. Read more.
