Blood Disorders
The blood carries oxygen to the tissues of the body, and takes away wastes, like carbon dioxide. Blood is made of a pale fluid (plasma), red blood cells (erythrocytes), white blood cells (leukocytes), and platelets. Since blood performs many different functions, there are many different types of blood disorders.
