Breast Feeding

 

When a woman has a baby, her breasts make milk to feed the infant. Breast milk gives babies nutrients like liquid, proteins, sugar, and fats. Breast milk helps babies fight off germs. Breast milk can also carry medications and other substances from the mother to the baby.
