“Sandra Boynton is a beloved storyteller and we’re thrilled to have her as a Kohl’s Cares for Kids partner,” said Julie Gardner, senior vice president and chief brand officer for Kohl’s. “We know our customers will love singing along to her songs and they’ll help raise millions of dollars for children’s health and educational opportunities while doing so.”

The Boynton/Kohl’s partnership features three beloved Boynton books and corresponding plush available for a limited time only. “Rhinoceros Tap,” “Dog Train,” and the Grammy-nominated “Philadelphia Chickens” each come with a CD featuring entertaining songs performed by artists such as Blues Traveler, Meryl Streep, Allison Krauss and Hootie & the Blowfish. The items will also be available online at www.Kohls.com

“It’s truly wonderful what Kohl’s Cares for Kids accomplishes on behalf of so many children; I’m thrilled to be part of this most worthwhile program,” Boynton said.

About Kohl's Cares for Kids

From coast to coast, Kohl's partners with hospitals with the goal of improving the health of children in the communities we serve. Locally, the 15 Arizona stores participating in the Kohl's Cares for Kids supports the Volunteer Services Department at Phoenix Children's Hospital. The money raised in the program is being used to help defray the cost of training and standard medical tests for new volunteers, as well as establishing new volunteer opportunities such as one for teens and a docent program.
