Nervous System
The nervous system is made of all the nerves in the body, including the brain and spinal cord. The nerves are cords that send messages from one part of the body to another, using electrical impulses. Some children are born with nervous system problems. Others develop problems from injuries or infections. Exams and tests can help doctors find the problem. The treatment for a nervous system problem may include a medicine or surgery.
