Tourette Syndrome
Tourette syndrome is a disorder of the nervous system. A child with Tourette syndrome has sudden movements with no purpose that he or she cannot control, and makes sounds he or she cannot control (vocal tics). These signs may get worse when the child is feeling stressed. Medicine can help control these.
