Comprehensive and Quality Care
- Build specialized multidisciplinary collaborative programs of distinction (e.g., epilepsy, neuro-oncology, autism, neurotrauma, neonatal neurology, hypothalamic hamartoma) to address unique and individualized concerns of pediatric patients and their families
- Improve service and satisfaction for patients, families, community and regional health care providers, and employees through improved access to multidisciplinary care for patients with special needs, work flow and processes, reduced wait times, etc.
- Promote disease/disorder-centric clinical and translational research
- Foster strategic partnerships to enhance multidisciplinary innovative cutting-edge research
- Publish research outcomes that change the way care of neurological disorders is practiced and delivered
Medical and Research Education
- Promote professional education through seminars, physician-training symposia, and on-line course offerings
- Promote community education by development of patient/family networks, web-based education, disease/disorder-focused community programs
- Develop residency and fellowship opportunities to train the specialists of tomorrow
