Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders
The Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders at Phoenix Children's Hospital is the largest pediatric program of its kind in Arizona, providing complete care for children diagnosed with malignancies and/or life-threatening hematologic diseases.
Barrow Neurological Institute at Phoenix Children’s Hospital
A growing number of children are being diagnosed with neurological conditions such as development delays, autism, epilepsy, and traumatic brain injuries. It takes collaborative, multidisciplinary specialties to treat the interrelated needs of these children, such as developmental pediatrics, neurology, neurosurgery, neuro-trauma, neuro-rehabilitation, psychology, psychiatry, neuro-nicu and neuro-oncology.
Children's Heart Center
Phoenix Children’s Heart Center is the premier regional referral center in the Southwest and is the fifth largest program of its kind in the U.S. It offers the most comprehensive inpatient and outpatient pediatric cardiac care services to infants, children and teens with congenital heart defects, rhythm disturbances, heart failure and other cardiac-related problems.
NICU
The Newborn Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Phoenix Children's Hospital is a Level III nursery, which is the highest certification given by the Arizona Perinatal Trust. Each year, hundreds of babies throughout Arizona and the Southwest are admitted to this intensive care nursery. Most of the infants are premature, some as much as 16 weeks early and weighing barely one pound.
Center for Pediatric Orthopaedics
Phoenix Children's is dedicated to offering the most comprehensive and state-of-the-art care for children's orthopaedic and musculoskeletal disorders. Key program elements include the spinal fusion program, sports medicine, and clubfoot treatment through the Ponseti Method.
Trauma Center
Phoenix Children's Level I Pediatric Trauma Center is Arizona's premier site for the evaluation, stabilization, treatment, and care of children who have experienced a traumatic injury. A verified Level I Pediatric Trauma Center offers the highest level of emergency and surgical care to patients, 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year.
