Cardiac Imaging

Your heart is what keeps your body running. It is a muscle in the center of your body that pumps your blood through your veins, bringing much-needed oxygen and blood circulation through your lungs and body.

A normal heart is made up of four chambers. Each chamber pumps the blood out of it, with a valve that prevents the blood from flowing backwards. When your heart muscle contracts, it pumps blood across the chamber's valves. When the heart relaxes, blood fills the chamber again so it can be circulated throughout the body and into all vital organs.
