Frances H. McClelland Rehabilitation Program at Phoenix Children’s Hospital

Children, unlike adults, need to continue with their development while they are trying to recover from an illness or injury. Because kids are still growing and their brains are still developing, experts who understand the unique needs of a child and how a child learns are vital to the success of each child's recovery.

The Frances H. McClelland Rehabilitation Program at Phoenix Children's Hospital is made up of a comprehensive team of pediatric trained physicians, nurses, and therapists who care only for growing children.

Our aim is to allow each child to achieve their optimal level of independence, using multidisciplinary, family-centered team of professionals. This team, along with the family, will develop a treatment plan and goals for each patient based on the child's specific injury, illness, or disability.
