Phoenix Children’s Hospital Asks Community to Support ‘Tweet 4 Hope’ Campaign for a Chance to Win $5,000

(September 1, 2012)  Phoenix Children’s Hospital has a chance to win $5,000 for the Center and Cancer and Blood Disorders by participating in the Hyundai Hope on Wheels “Tweet 4 Hope” Twitter campaign.

Since its inception in 1998, Hyundai Hope on Wheels has been on a mission to find a cure for pediatric cancer. By the end of 2012, Hyundai will surpass $57 million in donations to childhood cancer research nationwide. To continue in celebration of their 14th year in the fight against pediatric cancer, Hyundai Hope on Wheels is furthering its commitment to find a cure by announcing the “Tweet 4 Hope” Twitter Campaign.

Beginning September 1, anyone can tweet which Hospital they’d like to give their vote to by using hashtag #Tweet4Hope along with the name of the hospital. The top 14 hospitals with the most votes will receive an additional $5,000 grant to use directly for childhood cancer programs.

"Our ability to provide cutting edge, family-centered care to children is positively impacted by the community's investment in our dedication to clinical research," says Michael Etzl, MD, Director, Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders at Phoenix Children’s Hospital.

From September 1 through September 30, visit Twitter.com and tweet/vote for Phoenix Children’s Hospital. You MUST include the hashtag #Tweet4Hope and Phoenix Children’s Hospital. Participants can vote once a day.
