We understand that coming to the hospital can often be scary for children and their families. To make your visit to Phoenix Children's as easy as possible, this section helps you to prepare. Here you will find maps and parking instructions, suggestions for what to bring, what to expect while you are here, and your rights as a patient or family member.

 

Before You Arrive

Preparing for your arrival to Phoenix Children's Hospital often takes time and planning. Learn what you can do to get ready. 

 

During Your Stay

Phoenix Children's offers a variety of services to assist you during your Hospital visit such as a school for inpatients, family services, child life specialists, and animal assisted therapy.

 

After Your Stay

When you're child is ready to go home, we will help you with instruction for follow-up care and how to care for your child at home. You may also need assistance with billing and medical records. 

 

Visitor Guidelines

Regular visiting hours for individuals other than parents and grandparents are 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Learn more about visitor guildelines.

 

Location

Phoenix Children's Hospital's main campus is located at 1919 East Thomas Road in Phoenix, at the corner of Thomas Road and 20th Street. Due to our expansion and construction, the main entrance is located on Cambridge Avenue.
