Community Rotation
Welcome to your Community Pediatrics rotation.
This rotation is designed for residents to learn how physicians can become involved with improving children’s health and access to services at the community level. This rotation is different from your other clinical rotation in that it includes a variety of experiences at both clinical and non-clinical sites. The goal is to expose you to multiple available community resources, special patient populations, child health risk factors, health indicators, and the role of a pediatrician in advocating for child health.
It is our hope that every experience contributes to your skills in community and developmental pediatrics. Your site visits will include exposure to a variety of patient populations. Each experience introduces you to new areas to learn about in our community and children’s health.
Specific rotation information can be found here: Senior Orientation
Specific site information such as location, objectives, and reading material can be found under the Site Information link on the left.
