Research to prevent, treat, and eliminate disease
Research provides patients with the best, most up-to-date treatments for their illnesses. It identifies and evaluates new treatments to help future children. At Phoenix Children's, this translates into cutting edge care and access to the most promising new options.
Almost every one of our medical specialty centers is engaged in research. In addition, Phoenix Children's collaborates with a number of local, regional, and national partners, sharing data with institutions worldwide in the search of the best treatments and cures.
The Hospital is working closely with Children's Oncology Group (COG), an international consortium of top medical institutions and professionals who care for children and teens with cancer. Phoenix Children's is also building on existing teaching relationships with the University of Arizona.
