I had a wonderful experience thanks to the nurses in ICU Mary and Peter and then Ambrey on the first floor made my stay comfortable and explained everything to me so I didn't worry

To both of my little sisters whom I love very much, Crystal Bonati and Ruby Gonzalez both nurses at PCH! I am so proud of both of you!! I've seen both of you put so much effort in getting to where you are now, and I'd say it is well deserved!! Sincerely your little big bro.

My husband, our kids and I are so very gratful to all the nurses @ Children's Hospital on the 7th floor. Our 15yr old son was diagnose with cancer and was in the hospital from the 3rd of April until the 5th to have a Port A Cath put in. We have never experienced any kind of health issues with our kids and we have 8 to be exact so this was a shock for us! Thank you everyone who has showed myself and especially our son so much love, care and encouragement. We love each one of you for all that you do with such a big heart.

Thank you to all the Phoenix Childrens hospital nurses! My daughter was at PCH for close to 4 months and I have never met such amazing people in my life. Special thanks to 7th floor and REHAB floor.. Suzanne Mendez, Christa Walker, Cathy Hanlon, David Murray, and Tiina Allen you all are amazing and I cant thank you enough for the great care you have given my little Hailey.

A simple thanks is never enough to express the gratitude one feels towards the kind and amazing people that work tirelessly for our children. There were so many nurses that took care of our 23-weeker Audel in the NICU and to whom I have an eternal debt to. Melissa, Grace, Valerie, Shellie, Tiffany, Dawn and countless others were more than family after I unofficially moved in for four months. Although we did not keep in touch as I would have liked they will always be in our hearts. Thank you for never giving up on us! I hope Audel will be able to thank them personally very soon!

Our daughter Piper usually has about 2 hospitalizations a year. Her first one was just before her first birthday and she was admitted for two weeks. It was our first experience with a sick child and the nurses in the ER and on the 4th floor were amazing. They took such great care of Piper and were a great source of support for us. Even nurses who didn't have Piper on their service would stop in and play peek-a-boo with her for a minute to help keep her spirits up. Every time we go to PCH we have the same kind of experience with wonderful nurses. Sometimes they even remember us which is very touching considering how many patients they take care of. Thank you for all that you do--your job goes far beyond just the medical side of things and our wonderful experiences at PCH are because of YOU.

We would like to send a huuuge thank you to Kelly Langdon,Shellie Dipetro Michelle Flynn, Michelle Mckofske, and Janeen Stamatis at the NICU Good Sam. Our journey with our 27 weeker Elijah has been a rough one. And although it still continues as does our stay in the hospital, They made our 6 month stay in the NiCU there bearable. I have never met such an amazing team of nurses that are so passionate and caring about what they do.They went above and beyond their job descriptions when caring for Elijah especially during his first holidays. You are all professional, informative, consistant, patient the list could go on. Thank you for giving us the teachings and tools we need to care for Elijah. You will forever be in our hearts. We would also like to send a special thank you to one of Elijahs PICU nurse now Tori, she is amazing at what she does and always remains humble. I can count on her when away at work to treat Elijah like a normal baby and spend the extra time caring for him. She takes on other roles, PT and OT cares even reading to him. May god bless all of you! You are all so amaaaazing at what you do!!

Thank You to the lovely nurses in the CVICU! You all are amazingly kind and compassionate. Thank you for treating Haley like a little girl rather then just another patient. You all were awesome with her and allowed her to be a part of her treatment as much as possible, even letting her listen to your hearts and taking your temps! During an exceptionally difficult time in our lives, we had a ton of smiles and laughter during our stays. Thank you!!

We had a nurse named Mindy in the ICU who was the most amazing nurse ever. The first day waking up in the ICU with our 1 week old son we heard this sweet little voice telling our son how cute he is and how much she loves him and how pretty his eyes were. She literally was so awesome and sweet with him you would of thought it was her own son!! Typically a baby his age only the sound of his mother's voice is soothing but she could comfort him with her voice in a moments notice. I looked forward to every morning shift when she would arrive because I knew how good she was at comforting him and it was a good break for me as I had just given birth literally a week before. We would even have other nurses coming by telling us, "O, Mindy sent us down here to see how cute her patient is!!" I will never forget how amazing she was and how comforting it was to have her there. Thank you Mindy, and all the nurses at PCH who make your time there a time you will never forget!

Jenn was amazing with our daughter after her first shunt surgery and 3 months later when she had a revision and spent her first Christmas in the PICU. During the shunt revision our daughter developed complications that could have been life threatening. Jenn helped make a difficult time much easier. Her help, compassion and caring for our little girl was amazing. Thanks to her we were able to get the attention to issues that may have been overlooked otherwise. We think of Jenn every Christmas and thank her for being there during our first Christmas when we were unable to be home.

We are so fortunate to have PCH so close to us. I admire the nurses at PCH so much. Each time our daughter was inpatient for chemo or even at the clinic, the nurses provided such amazing care for her but at the same time acted as a support for my husband and myself. They made me truly understand that nurses are not just medical caregivers for patients but are providing so much more to the patient as well as the entire family. With everything I am, I thank you.

When I delivered my daughter 11 weeks premature and thousands of miles from home, and began my 6 week NICU journey, I didn't know how hard it would be. One nurse, after 3 weeks of stress, terror, frustration and when I was just about at the end of my rope, noticed how badly I was doing. She cared enough to ask how she could help. I was so lucky she was assigned my baby that day. She became her primary and together we developed a plan that brought my baby girl home just a few weeks later. She has always been on my mind since we returned home and my only wish is that I lived closer so she could see the amazing girl who is now 2.5 years old that she helped bring home. I had meant to fill out the award submission form I found in the family room before I left but it fell through the cracks unfortunately. I was so blessed to meet her. Julie Farr, you will never know how much of a difference you made in one persons life that day that you noticed a struggling mom trying to keep it together for her baby and helped pull her through one of the most traumatic experiences of her life. Love you!
