Department Mission, Vision, Values and Objectives
We provide excellence in clinical education and nursing professional development in an environment that is respectful of others, adaptive to change, and accountable for outcomes. In this way we support the mission, vision, and philosophy of nursing and are in alignment with the mission, vision and values of Phoenix Children's Hospital.
We support evidence based clinical and educational processes and clinical practice which fosters high quality patient/family outcomes and the recruitment and retention of excellent staff. We support and mentor nurses in the implementation of evidence based care of patients and families and where no evidence is found, support research initiatives.
