Finding new ways to diagnose, treat, and cure epilepsy in children

Epilepsy is a disorder that commonly begins during childhood; about half of all people with epilepsy in Arizona are under 18 years of age. Many of those children have seizures that require specialized care beyond common epilepsy medications. Phoenix Children's has the only pediatric-dedicated program in Arizona. Learn more.

Phoenix Children’s unveils $588 million multi-year expansion plans

The expansion of Phoenix Children’s will more than double the campus size from 19 to nearly 40 acres, and from 345 to 632 licensed beds by 2012. Every square foot of Phoenix Children’s will undergo renovation without ever shutting its doors, or compromising the level of care that the community has come to expect from the Hospital. Renovated newborn intensive care unit is largest in nation

The $31.7 million renovation gives Phoenix Children’s 110 licensed beds in 76 private patient rooms, some of which are designated for the large number of multiple births that come to Phoenix Children’s from all over the world.
