Emerging Leaders
The mission of the “Emerging Leaders” group is to support the Phoenix Children's Hospital through engaging and fostering the emerging leaders to make life more rewarding for children and families at Phoenix Children's Hospital through philanthropy, fundraising and volunteer opportunities.
This new affinity group will provide early career professionals a range of unique opportunities for enjoyable, productive interaction that supports Phoenix Children’s Hospital. You can advise, advocate, fundraise, give, and volunteer – all to help children!
Membership Benefits and Activities
The Emerging Leaders Group was founded in 2012 and adopts a special philanthropic cause each year that will benefit Phoenix Children's Hospital. The project for 2012-2013 is the Family Care Cart. The Family Care Cart is new to the hospital and is there to overcome the idea that a hospital can be a stressful place for children as well as families. The goal of the Care Cart is to make the hospital experience a little easier by providing some of the essential comfort items to our families while they have an extended period away from home – all Free of charge. The cart circulates throughout the hospital, thanks to our supporters in Volunteer Services, and provides items to our families two (2) times each day.
