Children's Miracle Network
Children's Miracle Network is a non-profit organization dedicated to saving and improving the lives of children by raising funds for children's hospitals across North America. Each year, the 170 hospitals in the network provide the finest medical care, life-saving research and preventative education to help millions of kids overcome diseases and injuries of every kind. Since its founding in 1983, Children's Miracle Network has raised more than $2.7 billion in support of these hospitals.
This national charitable effort is unique in that 100 percent of the money raised will stay in the community to support the local children's hospital, which means Phoenix Children's Hospital receives all of the funds raised in the northern two-thirds of Arizona.

Auntie Anne's Pretzels
2009 marks the 10 year anniversary of Auntie Anne's helping Childrens' Miracle Network hospitals. Beginning on March 2 Auntie Anne's location across the country will be selling Miracle Balloons to help children and families at Children's Miracle Network Hospitals. The campaign will continue through National Pretzel Day on April 26; buy a pretzel and a portion of the proceeds will benefit your local children's hospital. Walgreens is celebrating it's 10th anniversary as a Phoenix Children's Hospital sponsor. In continuing with their tradition of giving back to the community, Walgreens locations throughout Arizona will participate in their annual Miracle Balloon Campaign. From March 15 through April 30 our friends at Walgreens will sell Miracle Balloons to benefit Phoenix Children's. 100% of the funds raised will help to provide hope, healing, and the best care possible to Arizona's kids. American Car Care Centers has joined the Childrens' Miracle Network family as a new national sponsor. From March 20 through May 20, American Car Care member dealers across the country will raise much needed funds for Childrens' Miracle Network hospitals throughout the US. From March 29 through May 16 Rite Aid will participate in their annual Children's Miracle Network campaign. Stop by your local Rite Aid and purchase a Miracle Balloon for $1.00 to benefit your local Children's Miracle Network hospital. Funds raised locally, stay local and benefit kids right here in Arizona.
Costco Wholesale
Costco is continuing it's tradition of giving back to the community by dedicating the entire month of May to Phoenix Children's Hospital through their annual Children's Miracle Network campaign. Walmart/Sams Club
Beginning May 1, Walmart and Sams Club locations across the country will raise much needed funds for 170 children's hospitals across the country. IHOP
On February 24, IHOP restaurants celebrated their 4th Annual National Pancake Day Celebration. Guests enjoyed a free short stack of IHOP's famous buttermilk pancakes, and in turn made a donation to Children's Miracle Network. Various Phoenix Children's families and friends showed their support by eating eating free pancakes and supporting our very own Phoenix Children's Hospital. Thank you IHOP for another incredible year.
Credit Unions for Kids
Through the annual Credit Unions for Kids campaign, Arizona’s credit unions fund the 1 Darn Cool School and provide for teacher salaries, books, computers, Internet access and all needed school supplies. In 2008, the credit unions raised a record-breaking $578,699 through employee giving campaigns, icon sales, silent auctions, golf tournaments, change drives, and a softball tournament. The top five fundraisers were Desert Schools Federal Credit Union, TruWest Credit Union, AEA Federal Credit Union, Arizona Central Credit Union, and Arizona State Credit Union. TruWest Credit Union also earned the 1 Darn Cool Cup for increasing their donations by 275% over the previous year.
Desert Schools Golf Tournament
In March, Desert Schools Federal Credit Union raised $230,000 for Phoenix Children’s Hospital – a $10,000 increase over last year – through its 11th annual CMN Golf tournament. Desert Schools raised a record-setting $362,000 for the hospital last year. All proceeds benefit the 1 Darn Cool School, the in-hospital school program for patients. "This past year has been like no other," said Ron Amstutz, senior vice president for the credit union. "Many families and children experienced challenges both economically and personally. But year after year, Desert Schools’ employees, sponsors and volunteers remain committed to making a difference in the lives of kids. And for that, we thank them."
